There is considerable literature and practice that indicates that a critical aspect of a successful doctoral candidature is to clarify expectations with members of the supervisory team and determine how candidature can be successfully managed. This workshop will discuss some key strategies to help you get your candidature and relationship with your supervisor off to a good start.
Presenter: Dr Margaret Kiley
Margaret Kiley’s research and teaching interests for almost 20 years have been in the area of research education. She is now an adjunct at the Australian National University.
This session will be followed by afternoon tea.
